What this lesson shows

Each book picture stands for 5 books. 4 pictures are 20 books.

The worked example

The lesson works this one step by step: apples 20, bananas 10, grapes 15, key 5. Then your kid tries one like it on paper.

  2. Count by fives
  3. The last count is the row
